Driving Directions


From I-26 - Exit 59.
  Go West on Ozone Dr. (right if coming from Asheville; left if coming from Spartanburg).  Go aproximately 1 mile and turn right at US 176.  Just past the elementary school, turn right (Cullipher St).  At top of hill, turn right (Seminary Street) and left into the first driveway on the left, which leads to the parking lot.  Handicapped parking is available in front of the church.

The Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration is located in Polk County, in the Diocese of Western North Carolina and in the City of Saluda, North Carolina.  This parish is an active parish for full-time residents, as well as seasonal residents.

We invite you to visit and make yourselves known to the clergy and parishioners and let us know how we can help you in your spiritual journey as well as become a member of our parish family. 



Sunday Schedule

8:00 a.m. - Holy Eucharist, Rite I

9:15 a.m. - Sunday School

10:30 a.m. - Holy Eucharist, Rite II (with music)

 Chat and coffee time follows in the Parish Hall

  • Sunday Breakfast is served on the 1st Sunday of each month  at 9:00 a.m.

In case of inclement weather, you may call the church office to receive notice of schedule changes.
