Summer Enrichment Series

Churches in Saluda and the Saluda Elementary School are presenting a five-week Summer Enrichment Series.  The students in the program meet from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., beginning with breakfast and board games at the School, followed by an academic program.  The students are meeting at Church of the Transfiguration on Tuesdays from 10:15 to 3:00 pm for Community Interactions walks to the Cemetery, Fire Department, City Hall and Police Department, Macon Bank and the Post Office.  They sing, have lunch, have a Quiet TIme followed by Creative Activities, which include hearing a Bible Study and stations for discussion, crafts, music, games and cooking. 

Thanks to the thirty-one members of the parish who have volunteered their time and talents to provide this program in the parish.
