The Church of the Transfiguration is in the Diocese of Western North Carolina.  The membership includes full time residents of Saluda, as well as seasonal members who reside in the area usually from June to October.  In 2009 there were 113 Baptized Members of the parish whose Letter of Membership resides in the parish.  During the warm weather months the congregation recognizes over 100 others persons who are active in attendance and give of their time and talents towards the mission of the parish.
